All sales are final. Given the vintage nature of these pieces, typically 50-70 years old, some imperfections are to be expected, including slight variations in newly finished lacquer upon arrival. To assist, we provide touch-up paint and instructions with each item. For details on the craftsmanship of your selected piece, please refer to the initial paragraph of the listing, where we specify its quality. We understand selecting the perfect color can be challenging. If you’re ready to secure this piece but need more time to choose your lacquer color, go ahead and make the purchase. This ensures the item is reserved for you, and you can inform us of your color selection within three weeks. If you need longer, please note that your lead time will begin from the date we receive your color choice to keep our North Carolina operations on schedule. We recommend picking up paint swatches from your local store to see how colors appear in your home, as lighting can affect their look.

This piece will be refinished in a high-gloss lacquer, with the price including one of our stock lacquer colors. Our skilled painters utilize premium, customized high-gloss lacquer to transform these stunning vintage items. For a custom color, simply add the "custom color" product to your cart and specify your Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams color code in the notes section at checkout for a $150 upcharge. Please ensure to type your color choice in the “note” section located beneath the item on the cart checkout page. Unless specified, all original hardware will be painted in gloss gold.

Please note that turnaround times for custom work are estimates. Lacquering may take approximately 4 to 8 weeks, with shipping adding an additional 2-3 weeks. Volume of orders may impact these times. All timeframes are subject to change due to the delicate nature of lacquer and vintage pieces, which may require extra time to cure. Our team will keep you updated once your piece is scheduled for painting and throughout the shipping process. Clients can use the provided timeframes to estimate their lead times.
