Your shipping quote covers one small business private shipper who will safely hand-deliver your piece to the ground floor or foyer of your home. Shipping rates include delivery to this location. We work with outstanding independent shippers, but most operate solo and cannot carry items upstairs without assistance. If you wish to have your piece placed in a specific room on the ground floor, it’s helpful to have an extra set of hands available to assist and tip the shipper.
 
After your piece is picked up and securely wrapped, our team will be in touch, but the shipper will be your primary contact for receiving. While we strive for smooth communication, unexpected route changes can lead to delays. Our shippers have strict schedules and generally cannot reschedule, so consider having a neighbor or family member available as a backup if you cannot meet the driver. Once your piece leaves our shop, any delays will be communicated directly by the shipper, as we have limited control at that point.

Final Sale Notice
All sales are final. Given the vintage nature of these pieces, typically 50-70 years old, some imperfections are to be expected, including slight variations in newly finished lacquer upon arrival. To assist, we provide touch-up paint and instructions with each item. For details on the craftsmanship of your selected piece, please refer to the initial paragraph of the listing, where we specify its quality.
